Our Founder

founder of victory over darkness

Ashley Morley

Born on February 2, 1983, in Camilla, Georgia, I emerged into a world where faith and resilience became defining pillars of my journey. Raised by a preacher father and a mother who battled adversity after leaving high school, my childhood was marked by the ebb and flow of transitions. At the tender age of five, my parents parted ways, ushering me into a life split between the vibrant cities of Atlanta, Georgia, and Miami, Florida. Amidst the upheaval, I found solace as the youngest of five sisters, learning early on the value of resilience and the power of community.

Upon graduating high school, I chose a path of service and enlisted in the United States Navy. For four years, I served  embracing the discipline and camaraderie of military life. Yet, my greatest challenge and motivation lay beyond the barracks—a son born and  diagnosed with Sickle Cell Anemia. His struggle ignited a fire within me, propelling me towards a lifelong commitment to community outreach and empowerment.
